Традиционно считалось, что инсулинорезистентность определяется метаболизмом глюкозы. Однако в последние годы все больше и больше внимания уделяется обмену жирных кислот в организме, повышение уровня которых играет значительную роль в патофизиологических механизмах, связанных с инсулинорезистентностью.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Obesity is a major risk factor for diabetes mellitus type 2, cardiovascular diseases and associated comorbid conditions. It is traditionally considered that insulin resistance is dependent on glucose metabolism.
