Мужской гипогонадизм ассоциирован с ожирением, в связи с этим интересна оценка частоты его встречаемости. Так как клинические симптомы гипогонадизма не специфические, основным способом диагностики является метод лабораторного определения уровня тестостерона, лучше всего путем тандемной хромато-масс-спектрометрии, которая используется в нашей работе.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Оценка частоты встречаемости и особенностей синдрома гипогонадизма у мужчин с ожирением.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. В сплошное одномоментное скрининговое одноцентровое неинтервенционное исследование были включены мужчины с ожирением, обратившиеся за медицинской помощью в ФГБУ «НМИЦ эндокринологии» МЗ РФ в период с января 2023-го по май 2024 гг. Проводились изучение анамнеза, физикальный осмотр с определением индекса массы тела (ИМТ), величины окружности талии, измерение общего тестостерона методом тандемной масс-спектрометрии, липидного профиля и мочевой кислоты. Сравнение групп проведено с помощью U-критерия Манна-Уитни и χ² с поправкой Йетса. Статистически значимыми считались различия при p&lt;0,05. При множественных сравнениях применялась поправка Бонферрони.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Синдром гипогонадизма был выявлен у 230 (76,7 (95% ДИ 71,9–81,5)%) мужчин с ожирением. Частота гипогонадизма, выявляемого при избытке массы тела, составила 63,7 (95% ДИ 53,2–74,3)% случаев, при ожирении 1 степени — 74,8 (95% ДИ 66,8–82,7)%, при ожирении 2 степени — 88,2 (95% ДИ 76,1–95,6)% и при ожирении 3 степени — 88,9 (95% ДИ 77,4–95,8)%. У пациентов с гипогонадизмом отмечались статистически значимо более высокие уровни холестерина, мочевой кислоты и триглицеридов по сравнению с эугонадными мужчинами.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Частота встречаемости гипогонадизма у мужчин с ожирением составила 76,7 (95% ДИ 71,9–81,5)%. Наличие гипогонадизма ассоциировано с дислипидемией и гиперурикемией.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>BACKGROUND</title><p>BACKGROUND: Male hypogonadism is associated with obesity, therefore, it is of interest to study its frequency. The clinical symptoms of hypogonadism are not specific, and laboratory diagnostics is the basis for its detection. The optimal method for this diagnostics is isotope dilution liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry, which was used in our study.</p></sec><sec><title>AIM</title><p>AIM: To assess of the incidence and features of hypogonadism in men with obesity.</p></sec><sec><title>MATERIALS AND METHODS</title><p>MATERIALS AND METHODS: A full-design, cross-sectional, screening, single-center, non-interventional study of hypogonadal men with obesity, who were treated in Endocrinology Research Centre, Moscow. The study was conducted from January 2023 to May 2024. Medical history assessment, physical examination with determination of body mass index (BMI), measurement estimation of total testosterone by isotope dilution liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry, lipid profiles and uric acid were performed. The groups were compared using the Mann-Whitney U-test for quantitative indicators and χ² with Yates’ correction for qualitative ones. Differences were considered statistically significant with p &lt;0,05.</p></sec><sec><title>RESULTS</title><p>RESULTS: Hypogonadism was detected in 230 (76,7 (95% CI 71,9–81,5)%) men with obesity. The prevalence of male hypogonadism in overweight was 63,7 (95% CI 53,2–74,3)% of cases, in 1st degree obesity — 74,8 (95% CI 66,8–82,7)%, in 2nd degree obesity — 88,2 (95% CI 76,1–95,6)% and in 3rd degree obesity — 88,9 (95% CI 77,4–95,8)%. Patients with hypogonadism had statistically significantly higher levels of cholesterol, uric acid and triglycerides compared to eugonadal men.</p></sec><sec><title>CONCLUSION</title><p>CONCLUSION: The prevalence of male hypogonadism in obesity was 76,7 (95% CI 71,9–81,5)%.
