За последние 40 лет частота ожирения в детском возрасте от 5 до 19 лет возросла в десять раз. Подобная цифра роста детского ожирения как социально значимого хронического неинфекционного заболевания с 2014 г. вызвала необходимость мониторинга физического развития детей и подростков с целью разработки современных методов снижения уровня распространенности детского ожирения и контроля их исполнения, анонсированного Всемирной организацией здравоохранения.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Определить фактическую распространенность детского ожирения в Тюменской области среди детей и подростков от 3 до 18 лет.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Проведено одномоментное исследование сплошным методом 5130 учащихся дошкольных и школьных учреждений Тюменского региона от 3 до 18 лет в рамках профилактических осмотров несовершеннолетних. Исследование включало измерение роста и массы тела, определение индекса массы тела (ИМТ) и SDS (SDS — standard deviation score — индекс стандартного отклонения), ИМТ для данного возраста и пола. Оценка физического развития проводилась согласно критериям ВОЗ (2005 г., 2007 г.).</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Распространенность избыточной массы тела и ожирения среди детей и подростков в Тюменской области составила 15,2% и 8,4% соответственно, у мальчиков избыточная масса тела и ожирение диагностированы в 13,5% случаев, а у девочек — в 10,2%. При анализе по периодам детства установлено, что ожирение в 1,4 и 2,1 раза чаще выявляется у мальчиков, чем у девочек в дошкольном и младшем школьном возрасте соответственно, p=0,027 и p&lt;0,001. В клинической структуре ожирения достоверно чаще наблюдалось ожирение I степени — 55,5%, p=0,027.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Фактическая распространенность детского ожирения в Тюменской области в настоящее время составляет 8,4%. В целом среди девочек ожирение зарегистрировано в 5,4% случаев, а среди мальчиков вдвое больше — 10,7%. SDS ИМТ более +3,1 чаще диагностируется у детей в дошкольном и младшем школьном возрасте.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>BACKGROUND</title><p>BACKGROUND: Over the past 40 years, the incidence of obesity in children aged 5 to 19 has increased tenfold. Due to the growth of childhood obesity as a socially significant chronic non-communicable disease, since 2014 the World Health Organization has announced the need to monitor the physical development of children and adolescents in order to develop actual methods to decrease the prevalence of childhood obesity and monitoring their implementation.</p></sec><sec><title>AIM</title><p>AIM: To determine the actual prevalence of childhood obesity in Tyumen region among children and adolescents from 3 to 18 years.</p></sec><sec><title>MATERIALS AND METHODS</title><p>MATERIALS AND METHODS: A one-time continuous study of 5,130 students of preschool and school institutions of Tyumen region from 3 to 18 years old was conducted as part of preventive examinations of underage children. The study included measurement of height, body weight, determination of body mass index (BMI) and calculation of SDS (SDS — standard deviation score) BMI for a certain age and gender. Assessment of physical development was carried out according to WHO criteria (2005, 2007).</p></sec><sec><title>RESULTS</title><p>RESULTS: The prevalence of overweight and obesity in Tyumen region was 15.2% and 8.4%, accordingly, among boys over weight and obesity were diagnosed in 13.5% of cases, among girls — in 10.2%. While analyzing the periods of childhood it was found that obesity is 1.4 and 2.1 times more common among boys than among girls at preschool and primary school age, accordingly, p=0,027 and p&lt;0,001. In the clinical structure of obesity, grade I obesity was significantly more often observed — 55.5%, p=0,027.</p></sec><sec><title>CONCLUSION</title><p>CONCLUSION: The actual prevalence of childhood obesity in the Tyumen region is 8.4%. In general, among girls, obesity was registered in 5.4% of cases, and among boys it was twice as much — 10.7%.
