Ожирение является серьезной проблемой современного общества, его распространенность во всем мире достигла уровня эпидемии. Опасность ожирения связана с высоким риском развития многочисленных заболеваний вследствие метаболических нарушений. Поиск диагностических критериев для раннего выявления ожирения является приоритетной задачей биомедицинских исследований. Поэтому особый интерес представляет новый маркер висцерального ожирения – индекс накопления липидов (lipid accumulation product, LAP). Между тем к настоящему моменту нормативные значения для индекса LAP не определены, а данные о половозрастных особенностях противоречивы.</p></sec><sec><title>Цель</title><p>Цель. Определить диапазон варьирования, половые и возрастные особенности значений индекса LAP у здоровых людей.</p></sec><sec><title>Методы</title><p>Методы. Исследование проводилось на практически здоровых людях (455 мужчин и 286 женщин) в возрасте 20–59 лет, отобранных на профилактических осмотрах на базе центральной поликлиники г. Архангельска. Обследование участников состояло из физикального осмотра с измерением антропометрических и клинических параметров, заполнения анкеты, оценки уровня липидов в сыворотке крови.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Значения индекса LAP у обследованных лиц варьировали в довольно широком диапазоне (0,5–156,5 см×ммоль/л у мужчин; 0,4–116,2 см×ммоль/л у женщин), но при этом у 75% лиц они не превышали 30 см×ммоль/л. Половые различия значений индекса LAP с превалированием показателей у мужчин наблюдались в возрастных группах до 40 лет, впоследствии они нивелировались. С возрастом значения индекса LAP у мужчин и женщин увеличивались, но неравномерно. Повышение значений индекса LAP с выходом на плато наблюдалось у мужчин до 30 лет, у женщин до 40 лет.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Индекс LAP является комбинированным показателем, отражающим одновременно характер распределения жировой ткани и изменение липидного профиля крови, и поэтому считается маркером ожирения, ассоциированного с риском развития метаболических нарушений. В рамках данного исследования впервые определен диапазон варьирования значений индекса LAP у здоровых людей, установлены половые различия и возрастная динамика этого показателя.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>BACKGROUND</title><p>BACKGROUND: Obesity is a major health problem in modern society and its prevalence throughout the world has reached the epidemic level. The unfavorable outcomes of obesity are associated with a high risk of numerous diseases due to metabolic disorders. Finding of diagnostic criteria for early detection of obesity is a priority in biomedical research. Therefore, of particular interest is the new visceral obesity marker – lipid accumulation product (LAP). Meanwhile, to date, the reference values for LAP are not defined, and data on sex- and age-related changes are contradictory.</p></sec><sec><title>AIMS</title><p>AIMS: The aim of this study was to determine the variation range, sex and age differences in LAP values in healthy subjects.</p></sec><sec><title>MATERIALS AND METHODS</title><p>MATERIALS AND METHODS: The study was conducted on apparently healthy subjects (455 men and 286 women) aged 20–59 years selected at routine examinations at the base of the central clinic in Arkhangelsk. Examination of subjects consisted of physical examination with measurement of anthropometric and clinical parameters, filling out a questionnaire, and evaluation of serum lipid levels.</p></sec><sec><title>RESULTS</title><p>RESULTS: The LAP values in the subjects varied in a wide range (0.5–156.5 cm×mmol/l in men; 0.4 to 116.2 cm×mmol/l in women), but at the same they in 75% of the participants did not exceed 30 cm×mmol/l. Sex differences in LAP with the prevalence of values in men were observed in the age groups up to 40 years old, later they disappeared. LAP in men and women increased with age, but these changes were unequal. The LAP values increased to reach a plateau in men up to 30 years of age and in women up to 40 years of age.</p></sec><sec><title>CONCLUSIONS</title><p>CONCLUSIONS: LAP is a combined index that simultaneously reflects distribution of adipose tissue and changes in blood lipids, and is considered a marker of obesity associated with the risk of metabolic disorders.
